LidGuard

Refunds

Last updated 8 September 2026

Thirty days, no questions

If LidGuard isn't what you wanted, reply to your Stripe receipt within 30 days and ask for a refund. You'll get the full amount back. You don't have to explain why, and you won't be asked to.

You don't have to uninstall anything

The app isn't locked, so a refund doesn't switch anything off and there's no key to hand back. Keep using it if it's useful. That is not a loophole โ€” it is the deliberate consequence of not gating the software.

How to ask

After 30 days

Ask anyway. At this price the answer is very likely yes; it just isn't a promise outside the window.

If something went wrong

If LidGuard didn't keep your Mac awake, it's worth telling me what happened before you ask for the money back โ€” the machine, the macOS version, whether the lid was shut, whether deep hold was installed, and which agent you were running. Sleep behaviour varies by hardware and configuration, and that detail is often enough to fix it. The limits section explains what the app can and cannot guarantee.
